Configure your tomcat for your Eclipse

If you are configuring your server in eclipse and getting message again an again like following:

Just click on your apche tomcat server –>conf –>server.xml and edit server.xml file.Find following sentence:

. <!– Define a non-SSL HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8180 –>

    <Connector port="8080" maxHttpHeaderSize="8192"
               maxThreads="150" minSpareThreads="25" maxSpareThreads="75"
               enableLookups="false" redirectPort="8443" acceptCount="100"
               connectionTimeout="20000" disableUploadTimeout="true" />
    <!-- A "Connector" represents an endpoint by which requests are received
         and responses are returned. Documentation at :
         Java HTTP Connector: /docs/config/http.html (blocking & non-blocking)
         Java AJP  Connector: /docs/config/ajp.html
         APR (HTTP/AJP) Connector: /docs/apr.html
         Define a non-SSL HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8080
    <Connector port="8080" protocol="HTTP/1.1" 
               redirectPort="8443" />

Replace port 8080 with any other port number.
For example;
<connector port=”8181″ protocolo=”HTTP/1.1″ connectionTimeout=”20000″ redirectPort=”8443″/>
and save it.

Now open your eclipse go to your project then right click on properties it will show you following window:

select targeted runtimes click on new select the server version which you want to include,also tick the create a new local server. and click on next as following:
Then in the next step browse for the server location and click on finished.You are done with your configuration of server in eclipse.Run your project on configured server.
